School Membership

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION for 2024

LAZSTA was formed with the aim to move ‘Towards Excellence in Science Education’ by 

· providing science teachers with high quality professional development activities 

· developing and distributing current information, ideas and methodologies that promote improved student learning.

· providing a professional and social network to enhance science and science education.

· promoting science and science education as a profession

· representing the members as a professional body.

LAZSTA is an endorsed provider of the NSW Institute of Teachers’ Registered professional development

Membership of LAZSTA is open to any science teacher at any school, government or non-government, or science educator. All fees are payable at the start of the school year and membership is valid for that calendar year.

The cost of school membership for 2024 is $200, 

member schools 10% discounts on many of in-services and stage 6 Exam papers.
